Timing, check the ignition timing, see the spark plugs wires are in right order, and the dizzy isn't flipped 180 degrees

Having done this many years ago it will require a reasonable amount of cutting. Tunnel needs to come up a few inches and modified sump. If they have hydraulic clutch at the top of the bell housing same as the earlier boxes it will also need a relief in the fire wall. If it was me I would leave it as is due to the value of them these days. Better off putting it in something cheaper

How long would that take to dry out? Been looking at the blissel one & a vax one for around £100 & look very similar to the rug doctor. Cheers

About to do this myself but ordered a seat cutting kit. These Transits need a 17mm x 17mm Cutter. You are running the risk of the new washers not seating properly if you don't remove all the carbon deposits. Also the clamp bolts need replacing as they are single use.
